How to set up a Adventure Series roof tent...

The Adventure Series hard shell roof tent is the quickest setup of our tents and can be done in under 60 seconds. To help you avoid any trouble setting up your roof tent we have detailed the steps of setting up the Adventure Series roof tent. In this video, we will show you how quick and easy the setup is

Easy as 1-2-3

Unclip

Unlock and release the two clips. Two keys are provided with each tent for the security and safety of your roof tent.

Open

Lift the handle to open the roof tent. The two gas struts will take over once you star to open and it will raise automatically into place.

Extend

Pull out the internal frame to extend and lock in place the 2 adjusting poles. Pop in the window awning bars and relax. It’s that easy!

How to set up a Compact Series roof tent...

The Compact Series roof tent is the quick setup soft shell roof tents but can be a little tricky the first time you set it up. To help you avoid any trouble setting up your roof tent we have created a video of setting up the Compact Series roof tent. In this video, we will show you the quick and easy setup; of the Compact Series. Simply release the straps, unfold the roof tent, pop in the window awning bars and you’re done. It really is that simple but don’t just take our word for it, watch the video below…

How to set up a Discover Series roof tent...

The Discover Series hybrid roof tent is a quick setup in under 2 minutes. To help you avoid any trouble setting up your roof tent we have detailed the steps of setting up the Discover Series roof tent. In this video, we will show you how quick and easy the setup is. Release the middle cover, 2 x internal clips, attach the ladder and pull it open, extend the entrance awning frame and relax. It’s our lightest and biggest roof tent all in one!

Yes. As long as you can fit roof bars or a roof rack to your car, then a roof tent can be mounted to your car. You will need to check in your vehicle’s handbook to make sure your vehicle’s roof is capable of carrying 50kg+ of dynamic weight.

All our roof tents come equipped with a full vehicle fitting kits (bolts, brackets, even tools) and detailed instructions. All our fixings are made from premium stainless steel 304-grade metal. This is to prevent weather corrosion/rust and add strength.

Yes. All roof top tents come with 100% waterproof heavy duty 420D Polyester Oxford canvas. The canvas used for the roof tents is UV and mould resistant, making your tent cooler and longer lasting in any kind of weather. 

The 420D Polyester Oxford canvas has a hydrostatic head rating of 2500mm. This means the material can withstand 2500mm of water across a day before water will start to penetrate.

Our free delivery service is available to the vast majority of UK customers. However, certain UK postcodes do not qualify for our free delivery service and customers in these areas may be required to pay a supplementary delivery fee.

Our current free shipping exclusion zones include postcodes in the following areas (and which are subject to updates from time to time): Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Highlands & Islands.

If your postcode falls within one of the free delivery exclusion zone(s), please email support@tentandtrail.com confirming your full address details and we will be in touch with a quote for delivery. We can also arrange delivery all over Europe – please contact us for a quotation.

All of your products, roof tents and awnings have a 2-year warranty, for any manufacturing defects that might occur, (these are very unlikely). Just contact us at support@tentandtrail.com for any issue and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
