To prevent heavy rainfall from pooling on the canopy fabric, lower one of the front legs slightly more than the other. This simple adjustment allows rainwater to run off the front side of the awning canopy, protecting it from potential damage caused by pooling. However, in extreme weather conditions , we highly recommend taking down your awning and packing it away. This precaution helps prevent unnecessary strain or damage to your awning, ensuring it stays in top condition for your next adventure.

How do I fit my awning to my vehicle?

Our vehicle awnings are designed for effortless installation and come with a complete fitting kit, including bolts, brackets, and even tools, to make the process as simple as possible. Do I get my awning delivered free?

Free shipping service is available to the vast majority of UK customers. However, certain UK postcodes do not qualify for our free shipping service and customers in these areas may be required to pay a supplementary delivery fee. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure to use the provided guide ropes at all times to prevent damage from gusts of wind. We recommend that the awning is not be used in severe weather conditions to avoid damage to the product. These side awnings are not suitable for high roof vehicles due to the length of the leg poles (210cm).

This is my second purchase from Tent and Trail and again the service was 100%. I had lots of annoying questions (because I hadn’t read their email properly!!) but still the customer service was first rate. I have bought comparable products from Frontrunner in the past (at a much higher price point) but I would honestly not hesitate to buy from Tent and Trail whilst but I cannot say the same for Frontrunner. I recently bought a tent and trail adventure light roof tent and it is excellent! The whole buying experience with Chris was as easy as possible as I was able to go and see the tents in person as Chris opened his showroom on a Saturday morning just for me. The tent itself is very good. Its first outing was a 5 day trip through the highlands of Scotland and it held up to sun, wind, rain and midges with no issues. It also stays dark even when the sun is up so you don’t wake up super early! Thanks Chris!
